"Named After a zoo Bench"

It just goes to show that if you enjoy numbers, study hard, and really work those summer-long engineering internships, a life in the arts can still sneak up and claim your immortal soul. Growing up in Austin, Texas, I lived a life of state-wide science fairs and Air Force satellite launches until I learned two things: First, scientists don't make very much money, it turns out; second, the one thing that makes me feel truly alive is being a storyteller.

In the near decade since I wrote the above, I’ve learned at least one more thing — never stop learning. In 2024 I earned my Master’s degree in Immersive Media Communications (in the first cohort in America!), so now I can bridge the not-so-disparate worlds of storytelling and cutting-edge tech to bring tangible magic into the world.
